If surgical care is indicated, your doctor will discuss anesthetic options. The choice of anesthesia is dependent on a number of factors.

Our doctors are certified in anesthesiology and hold a general anesthesia license. Intravenous (IV) sedation and general anesthesia are administered in the office. Patients are monitored with continuous and state-of-the-art EKG, Blood Pressure, Pulse Oximetry, and Respiration machines.
Office Based Anesthetic Options

– Nitrous Oxide Sedation (“laughing gas”)
– Intravenous Sedation
– Intravenous General Anesthesia
Hospital Based Anesthetic Options
Procedures that are preformed at the hospital are usually with full general anesthesia. Our doctors have surgical privileges at California Pacific Medical Center.
